By using Hash, you acknowledge that the software is provided as is, that you use it entirely at your own risk, and that Hash and its operators are not responsible for anything — under any theory of liability.
Software provided strictly “as is”
Hash, including all related websites, apps, APIs, hangouts, matching features, job listings, profiles, messages, emails, calendar invites, AI output, and any other services or content (together, the “Service”), is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis with all faults and no warranties whatsoever. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, reliability, security, timeliness, or uninterrupted / error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your needs, produce any result, or remain available at all.
No responsibility — for anything
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operators, owners, contributors, sponsors, affiliates, and partners of Hash are not responsible for anything arising out of, relating to, or in connection with the Service or your use of it — whether the claim is based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such issues.
Without limiting the foregoing, that includes: hiring or non-hiring decisions; employment, internship, or contractor outcomes; interviews; offer letters; compensation; lost opportunities; lost profits or revenue; lost, corrupted, or disclosed data; downtime or outages; bugs; security incidents; unauthorized access; third-party websites or tools; job postings; candidate or employer profiles; messages; hangout interactions; emails; calendar invites; AI or matching suggestions; rankings; scores; recommendations; user-generated content; defamation or other disputes between users; regulatory or compliance failures; or any other claim, loss, cost, damage, injury, or liability of any kind.
Your sole risk
You use Hash entirely at your own risk. You alone are responsible for verifying all information, evaluating all people and companies, complying with all applicable laws, and making every decision about jobs, candidates, employers, communications, and conduct on or off the platform. Nothing on Hash is professional, legal, career, or hiring advice.
Maximum limitation of liability
In no event will Hash or its operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or other damages of any kind, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or anticipated savings, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. If liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed zero dollars ($0), or the minimum amount required by law, whichever is greater.
Third parties & content
Job posts, profiles, messages, and other user content are provided by third parties. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee any listing, candidate, employer, company status, credential, or statement on the Service. Interactions with other users are solely between you and them.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information to anyone — no data brokers, advertisers, or other third parties. Information you provide is used only to operate Hash (for example accounts, job listings, applications, hangouts, and matching), as described in the Privacy Policy. Service providers that help us run the product (such as hosting, email, or AI matching) process data only to provide those services to us; that is not a sale of your information.
This disclaimer is in addition to the Privacy Policy and MIT License. If any part of this page is held unenforceable, the remainder still applies to the maximum extent permitted by law. Your continued use of Hash constitutes acceptance of these terms.
